Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 61 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 80. This is so not August weather. It is crazy.
I woke up around 6am which is nuts because I was up until almost 1am. I definitely will be napping later! I don't have any big plans for the day. I'm not even planning to head to the pool unless I hear from someone. The water is cold. I was there by myself yesterday. I don't feel like dealing with that again today.
I can't believe that it is Labor Day weekend already. Where did the summer go?!?!?! I'm going to order some groceries--both for here and stuff for work. Ugh. Work. I can't believe it starts up again next week.

Doctor appointment for son later, and his infusion, etc. That will put us in the city area of the huge U of I first home football game, with thousands of extra people everywhere not having a clue where they are driving..normally, traffic doesn't bother me that much. Finding places to park does bother me. But hey, gotta do it.
Try to relax some this weekend and enjoy the last bit of our strange weather of summer this year.

I’m contemplating going to get checked out again, but I’m also thinking I’ll be fine if I let medicine take its course.
You need more pool time, and August and school are getting in the way of that. It honestly does seem just like a month ago you were so psyched the pool had opened.

Good morning. It is 58F in my part of Missouri this morning. We have a heavy fog here. I can't even see the lights from the Mexican restaurant across the street. I can barely see headlights creeping down our street in front of the house. Our high today is supposed to reach 80F by late this afternoon.
Pretty told me yesterday that she needed to finish something online before we could go shopping and I fell asleep waiting. She didn't wake me up to go and I slept until 1:30 am... Maybe we'll go today.
As far as I know, we don't have any appointments today.

Good afternoon to you. The weather is not so good here ….Summer is coming to an end. I almost put the fire on last night ….i did put the electric blanket on when I went to bed. It’s sunny this morning but still chilly.
Our schools go back next week. I will miss the whole of the first half term. Hey ho !
