Or a rabbit or monster? This is the broken legged rooster. He got out of the run last night when I went to feed. So I put him in the barn. I just let him out this morning and put him back in the barn this evening. The 3 girls seem to be enjoying his company. 
I have learned to cut back on the water if my peaches are very ripe. It took a long time for the peach butter to cook down too. But by using the slow cookers I didn't have to stay with it. I am letting it cool a little bit now. Then I will get it into jars and water bath them. I made a batch of grape jelly too. I will do another one of those tomorrow. Then tomorrow evening I will pick grapes to take to the auction.
I did get to play outside a little bit today. It's been very nice out. Hope you had a good day.

That's a great plan! Its sunny here too. A relief from the downpour that followed us everywhere for the past few days!

I hope the peach butter turns out delicious!
Poor rooster! He only has cats for company. 
It was a cloudy, nasty day here. We kept getting sprinkles off and on.

It was good. I don't think I will eat it out of the jar like I do apple butter. But still good.
He found his way to the run and visited.

Mine don't bother the chickens. I wouldn't trust them with a chick. But full grown is safe

That's so lovely! Your place is so lovely and sunny, I hope I can have that kind of garden/backyard for my mom soon. My mom would love to have that kind of garden.

I had a decent day working with a computer due to a bad wire that was replaced late this evening by my relatives to replace an old wire that connected to the computer due to old age.
