My Ducks Are NOT All in a Row

My ducks are NOT all in a row. You can see that by the photo. However, they are well-fed.
The other day I went to one of the parks in St. Matthews (a suburb of Louisville). I decided I’d feed the ducks and geese, so I stopped at the Home Depot near the park and picked up a small bag of bird seed. Much to the delight of my physical therapist, I carried that ten-pound bag through the park until I got to the bridge over Beargrass Creek, where the ducks and geese congregate for handouts. (See, just like dogs and cats, these ducks have us trained.
)
When I left, I only had about five pounds of bird seed left. But the ducks and geese were happy!
I enjoyed the day, the weather, and the ducks!

I'm glad you were giving them birdseed instead of bread.

@FourWalls Maybe... I know with birds it will make their wingtips flip up and they can't fly.

Question: Why didn’t you just take 5lbs of seed to feed the ducks, or was that your “workout”?

@FourWalls I think I was attempting some sort of joke here and failed miserably.
I blame it on being early in the morning and I wasn’t fully with it.

@Orson_Kart — no problems. Oh, I did the exercise where you lift a 50-pound potato bag. The doctor said it was only beneficial if you had potatoes IN the bag.

Yeah, they act like they’ve never been fed before.
I’m buying a 20-pound bag for the critters every few days. I have birds and squirrels to eat it, though….and a groundhog!

I had sparrows and doves, those seem never to have enough food to eat. I got the kitty of my neighbor eating the seeds a few times, he made me laugh.

I love the style of humor you use to handle many comments.
Your physiotherapist should be with the psychologist, haha, what does it matter? Sometimes you have to treat yourself, and if it made you want to go see the ducks and carry a 10kg bag, what does it matter?

I always try to interject humor in things…or at least something I thought was funny.
Thank you for the compliment.

@FourWalls Yes, but I must seriously say that your way of expressing yourself makes reading refreshing and truly quite genuine. I love reading you.

That was good if you to give them the feed that they needed.

You gave those ducks and geese a real feast.. no wonder they flocked to you. I can just imagine them waddling and flapping over the moment they spotted the bag of seed.

The geese weren’t that impressed, but I prefer the ducks anyway!
