Well, happily the online vet visit went well. He did want to see the cat but since we had a live connection I just pointed him out. He was lolling around on his perch at the time. No issues getting the food refilled, but I had to prod the pharmacy along to put in the order. It should be here by Thursday at the latest. I ended up saving a bit of money. Plus I didn't have to wrangle the cat into his carrier traumatic for both of us. The last time I took him to the vet you wouldn't believe how happy he was to get home purring, rubbing against my legs etc. I wouldn't recommend the online vet if your pet is truly ill, otherwise I think it is a good fill in. Today, should have storms later. It will be hottish until then.

I'm glad you got the food refill done.
It stormed here all day yesterday and most of the night last night. We're at 50F this morning but supposed to get hotter as this coming week progresses.

I am going to have to check the radar. I think once they start here they will continue on and off..not sure though I don't pay that much attention to the weather. I might look and see what accuweather says though. Next week will be cool and pleasant for us, much like what we have experienced for the last two weeks.

@snowy22315 That sounds nice! The Weather Channel is predicting we'll be back to 90F by Wednesday and then higher by Thursday and Friday.
We're just getting a brief respite for a few days.

There are actually a number of online vet services available. They vary in quality I believe like human docs. Also different states have different regulations on prescribing.

Thanks, It better get shipped out on Monday though. I am going to be concerned if I don't get a notification. The pharmacy rep said it should.

Well blow me down, now Vets are cybering too? HA! I'm so glad Tuffy is healthy and doesn't need a vet for more than his annual shots but the whole part about getting him into his carrier can be daunting, he's a 14+ pounder and boy can he fight me when I'm trying to wrangle him into one.

We do not have virtual vet services here that I am aware of.
Maybe it will be the next big thing for pet owners.
We have sunshine for now, but it is windy, we have an outdoor wedding to attend in a few hours, not sure how the weather will be there, since it is on Lake Erie. I just pray for no rain.

I am guessing windy A lake wedding will be nice I wasn't there, but I heard about it and saw some pics , my one cousin got married near the ocean. The wedding was at night and they were able to illuminate some of the water. It was quite striking

@snowy22315 This isn't directly on the lake, but very close.
It is an outdoor venue, and there will be a full moon, provided it doesn't get clouded over.
I hope that they have a nice day, but I did warn my husband that if I get cold I will be asking for the keys to the car so that I can sit in it and turn the heated seats on to warm up.

Thanks, hopefully my delivery will get here promptly. I might have to call the pharmacy again on Monday to make sure it is loaded for delivery. I need it ASAP. However, most places seem to get their shipping out early in the morning.

We had gentle rain all day yesterday. It was 48 when we got up. It is to be clear today and for the next few days, though.

It sure was for us. Plus you don't have to drive there etc. The vet he has seen in the past who is a low priced one thus very busy..is probably 40 minutes from here.
