Cousin #2 stayed longer yesterday and was able to do a couple of things for me. I haven't heard from cousin #3. I guess I can't count on her anymore.
There were 2 winners in Ohio for $1 million for the PowerBall drawing. If I understood cousin #2 correctly, she didn't buy the tickets. Sigh.
I ordered a book from Amazon about kidney disease -- what to eat and what not to eat, what to do and what not to do. That should be helpful.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, peas, roll, pears
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin
Dinner - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, peaches
What did you eat yesterday?

I’m sorry about these unreliable cousins. And, I’m glad you’re reading up about your condition so you can keep it under control. I have an ultrasound on my liver Thursday, but I don’t know why. I already know I have a liver disease (I had a biopsy at 23). I think it’s a waste.
Yesterday, I had fruit, half a bread bowl, a bowl of cream of chicken wild rice soup, and a “bouquet” of broccoli.

I'm sorry about the liver disease. They may be doing the ultrasound to find out how far it's progressed. That's what they did with my kidneys.
I love broccoli.....raw or cooked.

@LindaOHio I feel good about it because they said my liver enzymes were slightly elevated. Usually, they’re off the charts!

I will need to research kidney disease as I don't know a lot about it. I've been researching Hashimotos and apparently my "meat diet" is perfect for it. It says going gluten-free might help as well.

I'm sorry you can't depend on the cousins... Some people are just like that.
I'm glad you'll be reading up on the kidney disease and hope the book helps you manage it.
I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, no lunch and Pretty made chicken, mashed potatoes and biscuits for supper last night. I ate some Tootsie Rolls for dessert.

Sorry she didn't buy the tickets for that.
Hopefully the book helps... if it was a blood sugar issue I could help with that, but can't here.

We didn't win on hubbies tickets. I don't check mine until next Thursday as I always buy for 2 weeks

I hope the book helps and gives you more insight.
Thankfully there's a wealth of information available for us these days so we can understand what's going on when we get a diagnosis

Sorry about that unreliable cousin. At least a call to let you know would be good. I hope that the book comes with some good and easily manageable food tips to help you . Food at times is more effective than any medication. Take care.
