I Got Bored Again!

I'm BARELY older than you! I don't think I'm weird at all but the guy in the meme looks somewhat like me and is reading a book, just like I do all the time.

@DaddyEvil he is not the image I have of what you look like …. Your age has a completely different number at the beginning ….i wouldn’t say barely older …..id say Loads older !

@Traceyjayne I have long, curly auburn hair. If I let my beard and mustache grow, they'd look like his, though. There's a picture of the back of my hair somewhere here. Let me see if I can find it for you... This was taken in 2021, I believe. The only difference is that my hair is down below my shoulder blades now. Photo is mine.

Thanks. I'm the same way. My body tells me I'm old sometimes but my mind is still young.

I do the same... I'm young in my heart but, once in a while, my body tells me I'm getting older.

I liked it... I did that last week checking to see what fair/festivals were happening here in all the little towns around us... The one here I don't care about but one in the county capital I do want to go to... As long as I can see that morning, we should have no problem.

@JudyEv Thanks. We used to love going to the little fairs in the different towns... I can't remember why we stopped going. Oh, I hope that helps you remember those events!

@DaddyEvil I hope you get there. I have a calendar, an A4 page for each month. And now I've done additional pages for September onwards so I can add 'events' as I find out about them.

That may be because you aren't getting old yet. You're MUCH younger than I am. I'm doing fine, thank you. Even the sciatica I've been complaining about lately has gone away. And how are you?

@DaddyEvil Thank you. Yes, I know I'm young and therefore don't have the problems you are suffering from. Glad to know siatica has gone Wish you a very very good health. I'm fine. Have filed the case. I have all original documents. I know the case will go in my favour.

I worry about falling down and breaking bones but that's the only real problem I'm having.

@DaddyEvil sometimes he is senile but strangely when he hears about food or money he always remembers. When he was senile nothing was fun for me!

@May2k8 I understand. One of my sisters was senile. She kept asking for me but when I'd go see her, she just kept asking who I was and why was I in her house. I didn't enjoy that. Her daughter kept calling me wanting me to go visit her because my sister kept asking for me. My sister didn't want to see me, she wanted to see the me she remembered when we were kids and couldn't understand I'd grown up.

I rarely get bored. I always have things to do, read or watch online. I did enjoy just looking around this afternoon, though.

@LindaOHio I'm tired of taking care of long hair so it will be cut short again. Pretty is wanting to sell our hair now. She's done that before with hers and got paid quite a bit for it. My avatar was made from a real picture of me several years ago.

True but some jokes are more truth than jokes. And yes, laughing at ourselves when we get old and tired is something most of us do. I'm glad you're enjoying getting older. It's just part of life. I do miss friends who have gone ahead into the afterlife. I'm sure some of them are waiting for me to catch up with them one day.
