I bought groceries this morning but this time I asked for something different.
I bought again mussels and I just steamed them. Now I will eat them with mayo ( at least some of them). That will be enough proteins for the rest of the day.
For lunch I had onion and potato soup. It is wonderful but now I´m in the process of eating more proteins. My teeth won´t let me eat hard red meat and I don´t like the more soft one.
I decided not to buy cake for a while. I will only buy some Dunkin Donuts if I go nearby on Mondays or Wednesdays. They have a sale those days if you have a credit card from my Bank.
I´m so happy that spring is nearby!

I am glad to hear you are trying to get your protein intake up. Hopefully that will help you.
We made homemade pizza for dinner. Son asked for it and it had been two weeks, he loves pizza. We made it with chicken,onions, mushrooms and onion. Had a green salad with it, and we both have happy tummies!

@MarieCoyle I visited the US many times when my husband was alive. We rented a car a traveled for 2 or 3 months. I loved the US as I had lived there when I was a child. But now I would be scared to go there.

Onion and potato soup sounds so good. We had a soup called loaded potato the other night and it was sure good. We had a Dunkin' Donuts coffee this morning. French Vanilla. It was pretty good. I hope you enjoy your week and make some good food for yourself.

I bought tripes but they are now hidden somewhere in the freezer. The next time I see them, I´ll take them out and I´ll cook them.
