Do you ever sleepwalk?

I drove in my sleep once, after having taken Ambien (a well known sleep medication). I woke up one morning thinking I’d had a weird dream of knocking out my front headlight after going over a curb and hitting a stop sign. However, when I went outside, I found my car’s front headlight was indeed hanging out. The following week, I got my credit card bill, and found I’d also gotten gas that night, but had no memory of it. You can be sure I never took that again. Are you a sleepwalker? Have you been?

Not that I know of. Thank goodness. I can do enough damage awake. I am glad you were okay.

Thanks. I feel the same way about causing enough damage wide awake.

No, but I think my son did it a little. He would sometimes get up in the middle of the night and eat a snack and forget when he woke up that he did it. I would know he did it because he left crumbs on the kitchen counter.

My dad did that a couple times when he was taking Ambien.

No, I don't do that. My husband speaks in his sleep, that can be interesting, but too interesting sometimes to fall back asleep......

Never sleepwalked but I do have the talent of doing full jobs while sleeping and then waking up an still thinking about all I had done. BTW I believe my best dream of all was having a night of dancing with Martin, In fact, when I woke up not only was I a bit groggy as if I had been up all night but I also had sore legs like you get dancing the night away and I had not danced in a long time, I am hoping that one night he will take me dancing again,

No, but I might possibly talk in my sleep early this AM, (remember I told you old people aren't supposed to take diphenhydramine? I took it as I woke up at 3:39..Anyway I got startled awake by some sort of brief nightmare or hallucination or something..(which I don't have any history of..BTW, I dreamed the young guy who lives next to my parents had a big dog on a chain that lunged at me .and I got startled awake. I.thinkI said No! Or something

I sleepwalked as a kid and an early teen but not since then, as far as I know. I used to talk in my sleep when I was younger, too. (Pretty says when I'm really tired I sing in my sleep. I'm not sure I believe that.) I know I woke up one morning sitting at a railroad crossing with my car running and didn't remember how I got there. That was a scary experience. There was a train going through the crossing at the time.

Nope. I have never been a sleepwalker. It is good to know that nothing serious happened to you while you were sleep driving.
