Well, my sister says Hudson (nephew, aged 10) has a double ear infection, so they aren’t sure about him flying even though he absolutely loves to fly (countless times the pilots have invited all 3 kids to see the cockpit). They thought about driving to Boston (where the cruise leaves), but my BIL had a work thing pop up tomorrow. So either Hudson will be well enough to fly this weekend, or my BIL will stay home with Hudson while my sister and two nieces go with my and my dad and stepmom in the cruise. I got a much needed pedicure this morning. Diana got a pedicure and manicure, but I never get manicures. By the time I dropped Diana off, my dad was back from his two day conference. What are you guys up to? Portland, Maine is our first port, and I cannot wait!

The Love Boat, that would be adventurous, wouldn’t it!

After Maine, we have three stops in Canada: New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia. I’m really excited about Prince Edward Island because we’re going to where Anne of Green Gables was filmed. My sister and I loved those movies.

@RasmaSandra I do love salmon! I think lobster is extra though, so I probably won’t be able to have that, but I’ve been looking at the menu on the cruise, and I will try what you recommend!

Poor little Hudson, what bad timing for an ear infection, I hope that something can be done so that he and your BIL can join the rest of the family.

Well, I’m thinking a light jacket. I get hot so easily. I mean, it’s a problem I think I’ve talked about. I checked the temperature in Prince Edward Island today, and it was 70.

You are so more than ready to skip town. Sunshine in my corner. I am quite achey from some exercise time in the pool but I must at least get out back and sit on the swing. Just cause.

Oh, I hope he is well enough to go. I imagine that if he doesn't get to, it will make the little guy so sad. I will say extra prayers....I do so want you to ALL be able to go and make memories together!
