I should have just gotten the Covid shot along with it, before they change their minds again, but I will go back another day. I am participating in a clinic study next month, and they want everyone to get a flu shot in advance so off I go. It is a tad early. Will you get a flu shot this yearr?

Uhm... just letting you know... For Covid shots, you have to get a prescription from your doctor. Our doctor called it to the pharmacy and we got the shot on Tuesday of this week. Pretty got her flu shot on Monday. I don't get flu shots.

Ummm just letting you know that depends on the state. Anyone who wants one and is of a certain age can get one here without a prescription.. You need to be up on the news.

@snowy22315 Oh, me? I just don’t get one anymore. I KNOW it is a coincidence, but every time I got the flu shot, I got the flu. When I quit getting the flu shot, I quit getting the flu.

@AmbiePam Hmm, maybe it was the shot they were using. I would see what the doc thinks..I mean with your precarious health condiiton I would be worried about you getting the flu.

I’ve had a flu shot just recently. Here in the UK, all over 65s are offered it. The covid shot is only offered to the over 75s now, or those deemed at risk. I’m neither, so haven’t had it. I’m hoping by the time I’m 75, it will be condemned to the annals of time. Here’s hoping!

I do not usually get the flu shot. I always get my COVID boosters every 6 months.

@wolfgirl569 Very good precautions since you work outside and around animals, etc.

That is another thing I need. I haven't had a tetanus shot to my knowledge since I was in my teens.

I had one at the beginning of winter but now the weather is warming up, perhaps I've dodged the flu this year.
