Happy Tuesday myLotters. It is an overcast and humid day here in my neck of the woods. I had to have a medical procedure done this morning at the hospital as a follow up to an incident that I had a number of years ago. Taking health and the return of poor health issues, is never anything that we should take for granted. It is a lovely time of the year here in London, Ontario. My appointment was near the downtown area of the city. I tend to opt to walk a bit to take advantage of the free parallel parking instead of filling the city's pockets with an electronic payment and the parking garage should be reserved for the staff that work there. Having such an early appointment I literally had the second spot, which allowed me a little exercise to get from the vehicle to the front entrance. I spied this lovely tree on the corner as I was coming out of the hospital. Aren't the colours really lovely? ~Photo is mine

I wanted to share this photo. The reds and yellows blended in the trees with the existing green leaves are stunning. The sun is starting to burn through the clouds now, it will be a better day. I have messaged Jonathon and Klaudia, she is working from home today. I am going over for noon, as that is when Ron and the girls are back from playgroup. I asked if they would like anything, and she hasn't replied but he did and said he was fine. I asked him if I could 'tempt' him into an afternoon coffee-he knows how much I adore an afternoon coffee. He hasn't replied, but I know that he will be looking forward to me bringing him one.

@Juliaacv You know him very well and you know what he would love for sure. The rain stopped and right now I see a pale sun trying to look down through the clouds. I do not know for how long it lasts, but it's good to see the sun.

@Juliaacv it's certainly disappointing that Amber missed her trip as I know it would have been beautiful this time of year. The tree are slowly changing color here but soon it will be gorgeous and I'll definitely be out enjoying the scenery. Thanks for the PM

Thank you. I was a bundle of nerves for the past 6 weeks or so. The news reported that on the 6th floor (top floor) of this hospital, that they were bringing in dogs, for heart testing. They induced heart attacks on the poor animals, and many are still alive although they have been removed to be adopted out, although they were caged for most of their lives and subjected to testing and operations that were unnecessary. My biggest fear was what if they found more tumours, and I had to have surgery. I asked my husband if it would be like the episode to Gillian's Island where they replaced Gillian's brain with that of a dog. Yes........I have been 'that' nervous as of late.

@Juliaacv I am glad you did, Whenever anyone has said to me why don't you jsut go and get a check up for the heck of it even it you have no complaints. I imagine the doctor I am facing who discovers I don't remember when I last saw a doc, that I have no complaints, and take no medications, I can see him tallying everything up and taking me for a ride on umpteen tests and trying to find something wrong and then carging me a mint. For now I will just leave things as they ar ebetween me and the Lord,

I agree so never forgert to take you medicine on time, and never cancel your doctor's appointment no matter what unless your doctor is the one who cancel it. Stay healthy and be positive in everything. Negative thoughts will not help you in anything, so be positive.

I love autumn, and if it lingers it is even better. With it being so dry, the leaves started turning brown, back in August.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Yep, we sure do. Thanksgiving Monday is on October 13th, and then a couple of weeks later Halloween, and then a couple of weeks later it is Remembrance Day-Nov 11th.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. That tree is gorgeous! Some of ours are starting to show color as well. I hope your medical procedure went well, Julia. Have fun with those sweet little girls!!

It is such a pretty time of the year. It was fun spending the afternoon with my husband and the girls. We are only about 20 minutes away, but there was a bad car accident on the route home and it took me 55 minutes to get back.
