A couple of weeks ago my brother was suffering from allergies so bad he took a covid test to make sure it wasn’t that. My turn this week. The test was negative, thankfully, but lots of chicken soup will get me through the weekend. Meanwhile, here’s a slower song to get @rebelann through a slower dance.

I know this song is the brunt of jokes, but oh, I love it. There’s no accounting for taste, is there. 
This was Spandau Ballet’s biggest hit in America. And yes, they did have two other hits: “Gold” (which sounded like it wanted to be a James Bond movie theme) and “Only When You Leave.” But this was the “big one,” a top ten hit in numerous countries throughout the world.
I loved skating to it in the 80s, and I love listening to it today.

Yes, the curse of 80s workplaces, the “easy listening” stations. The one we had on in the office in Pearl Harbor was nearly “all Lionel Richie, all the time.”

I am happy that no one gets covid.
Always drink a lot of water and healthy fruits and meals.
I always listened to this song when I was a kid up to college, but this is the only time I saw who sang it. Thanks @fourwalls.

We are in a severe allergy location in the US, so allergies are very common…and usually severe enough to mistake for the flu or covid!

I don’t know, it’s been so long since I watched an 80s movie. Some of them had good soundtracks but I got to the point of buying the soundtrack and skipping the movie…I think after The Big Chill.
