The inspector called yesterday. He checked and my exclusion has expired. That means if I want them to come out and eliminate anymore entry points, I have to pay another $1,000. They are nuts. I refused of course. The only thing I can do is continue to pay the $70/month and have them come out quarterly to check the baits and traps in the basement. I'd better not see any mice up here in the house though. I will freak out.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Roast beef sandwich, potato salad, yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Muenster sandwich, broccoli
What did you eat yesterday?

@NJChicaa Can you believe that? It takes a lot of nerve to think they can charge me another huge fee.

Hopefully that will do the trick. They don't like peppermint oil and dyer sheets as well. Maybe you put them near the door .would help keep them out

I have 3 scents which are supposed to repel them. I have them in the pantry. Putting some by the door is a good idea. I think I have cornmint, linseed oil and I think peppermint oil. They are supposed to be good to repel them.

They check quarterly and each time they find a mouse. More will be coming in during the fall and winter.

@LadyDuck Yes, the tech thinks they are coming in via the back basement door.

At this point, I'd cancel my service with them and hire another company to do the quarterly service. Even if they won't do any further exclusion for free, at least you're not putting any more money into Terminix's pockets. The baits should at least be sufficient to control anything that does make its way inside.
For dinner we had baked chicken thighs with baked potato and salad on the side. Very good eats.

@LindaOHio Maybe you can find a smaller, local company. They tend to be more "on the ups."

Call other companies, or call the corporate office and yell. See if they’ll give you a discount.
I had a chicken & cheese baked potato for lunch, cheesy rice and cheesy potatoes for dinner, peach sorbet, apples, fiber, and yogurt!

Everyone says get a cat. Not all cats will catch a mouse. I have two and Blackie is a mouser and Buttercup will not even go after one. He does not want to have dirty paws, There was a Battle Bug walking in our living room and Buttercup ran over to get it and he looked at it and looked at his paw and walked away. I guess he did not want a dirty paw. I sweep it up and threw it outside.

I've already spent so much with them. I'll see how this fall and winter go. That's when I get overrun with the #### critters.
