Sad news this morning

My aunt called me about 20 minutes ago. I’m at work but she never calls me so I knew it was bad news. My uncle passed away last night. I don’t know the details as she was distraught and knew I was in class. She said they thought it was a heart attack so I’m assuming he passed in his sleep. It is sad but not surprising. He was at least 500 pounds. He rarely left the house. That being said he was the funniest person on the planet. He could make you laugh from the time you saw him until the time you left. He always told me after my divorce that “the bank of Uncle Buddy” is always open. My plan was to try to learn how to make lemon danish for him. I was intimidated by the laminated dough. I had all freaking summer to do it and I didn’t. I’m kicking myself now. Sleep well Uncle Buddy.
