Sweet Treats

We made it back to Mississippi yesterday afternoon. We were happy to see our son and fur daughter Baby.
As always it was pure joy being in our home and the wonderful state of West Virginia.
Our first morning there I received a telephone call from a friend that we’d find a surprise on our front porch. She had left a box of bakery goodies. My husband enjoyed them very much.
It was a productive trip and very satisfying to get more work done on our home. We can’t wait to go back again.

I wish. We have one floor about 99 % done and the other is only maybe 30 % done.

It truly hasn’t changed in the 50 years since that I moved from it. We are blessed to know so many wonderful people there too.

@snowy22315 No, my daddy was from Mississippi and my mama Florida. After Vietnam the Air Force sent us there for 5 years. My father had a special assignment to do search and rescue with the Civil Air Patrol there. We lived stateside the longest in West Virginia. My brother was born while we were there.

I think it is always nice to get back home. This friend is definitely a keeper. All of those look so very good.

Mississippi is our main home for the moment. We plan to move to West Virginia in the future.
