Something Sweet

Did you ever play that game “Would You Rather” when you were kids? For instance, someone says would you rather be a principal or a stay at home parent? Questions like that, and most are far fetched because it’s children asking the questions. Annelyn (6) was playing that with Hudson (10) earlier this week and she asked Hudson, “Would you rather be special needs (as he is), or would you rather be like me and Amyra?” Hudson said, “I’d rather just be happy. And I am.”

This reminds me of when my dad developed dementia. He would often tell me "I know I have forgotten a lot of things, but I am happy." and he was. My brother did a good job giving him a home.

That's great that he thinks that way. Every time you mention these beautiful kids, I think how lucky they are to have such a loving, and extended, family.

Yes I've played that, and there's also a really jacked up movie where the game takes a dark turn.
