Employees of the Strong Island Animal Rescue in Suffolk County answered an emergency call on Tuesday evening from the Suffolk Police Department about a kitten that was trapped inside of a pipe between two storm drains.
Since the pipe was too small for rescue team member Frankie Floridia to rescue the cat, the use of a remote-control car to enter one side of the pipe to push the kitten out of one of the pipe safely.
Officials with the Strong Island Animal Rescue mentioned that more remote-control cars will be in use to rescue kittens in need of being rescued.
