To All the Cars I've Ever Owned Before

A lot of us have been around the bend more than a few times—hey, many of us old farts, it is what it is—and so, through our lives we've all probably had our share of cars in the driveway, and it got me to thinking, it might be fun to list ones that have ever been in my driveway through the years.
1980 Ford Fiesta
1980 Subaru 1600DL
1986 Mitsubishi Precis
1996 Geo Metro
2001 Ford Sport Trac
1996 Chevy Cavalier (wife's car)
1996 Plymouth Breeze (spare 3rd car)
2010 Ford Edge SEL (wife's car)
2011 Ford F-150 XLT
2019 Nissan Rogue (wife's car)
2018 Ford F-150 XLT
When my wife and I had the Edge, we used it as the primary. Other than that, my vehicles have always served as the primary. I really liked that Edge. I don't like driving the Rogue at all.
Not sure what the next vehicles will be, but hopefully it's quite a ways down the road (pardon the pun). But I will likely upgrade to an F-250 or F-350 which will pull the camper better, and I am going to go with diesel. I really want a King Ranch, but I'd be willing to settle for a Lariat.
The wife seems to still have her eye on a Ford Explorer, but who knows? I'd REALLY like to get her keen on the larger sized Bronco, but so far she says she doesn't like them.
But I'd definitely drive that.
So, what cars have you owned over the years? And if you had your eye on something right now, what would it be?

Two Civics, two Novas, two Sentras, a Ford Granada, and two Honda crossovers.
I wouldn’t take a Ford or Nissan again if they paid me (unless I didn’t have to drive it).

@porwest — mine was a used Granada, which was two strikes into the second at-bat. My parents had a Pinto in the fiery days (mid-70s), can’t tell you how fast they got rid of that car.

I actually went backwards but because you know how coolness works. I bought a ford mustang, Transmission went bad a whole lot of help in people fixing it for me, like that car is crap but if you pay us we will try, so I got GEO, great gas mileage and affordable car, only for it to get side swiped
Then got a Hyundai and that one had no curses.

@crossbones27 I went online and did some house shopping in California. Looks like I can get a nice, 200 square foot shed for about $10 million.

I'm looking to get rid of the Subaru which is the last car that I have. My first car was a Plymouth Valiant which, at the time, was a car that you could drive for 200,000 miles. We've owned Toyotas and a Scion over the years. The used cars we bought I honestly don't remember what they were.

@porwest I remember we had a used van. Hubby really liked that because he could haul a lot of crap.

@LindaOHio That's one thing I have never owned. A van. I can haul quite a bit of stuff with pickups, though.

I guess for me it's easy to remember since there really haven't been that many cars. All of my cars have been used except for one. I did own a couple of other vehicles I didn't mention, but both were complete beaters I bought just because, but they were never primary vehicles.

I think since I have been married to Bob we have owned more cars than in all my years before that. I was forty-five when we married. I probably could not tell you what all we have had. When I was expecting my daughter I had a Pacer (AMC?) the color of the car in your picture. I loved that car, but it had its issues. That was pre-Bob. Other oddities that we have owned--two 1991 Mercury Capris--convertibles, but we got removable hard tops for them because the soft tops just did not hold up. Bob has been eyeballing a Ford Edge, but I have heard they have problems--did yours?

@porwest I loved mine, once my neighbor mechanic fixed a couple of things. My former brother in law called it a "blue bathtub", but you could see so well when driving. I think the Edge Bob is eyeballing is a 2010.

Out Ford Edge was great, although neither my wife nor I like the new body styles on the new ones, and so we probably won't ever go back to one unless they do some major change that makes it look better. I never liked the look of the Escapes, and when I look at an Edge now it looks like a bigger Escape to me.
Interesting about the Pacer. My grandfather actually retired from AMC way, way back in the day.

1988 Ford Truck King Cab
1980 Buick Century
1986 Oldsmobile
1996 Ford Van
2000 Ford Van
2004 Saturn
2006 Saturn
1988 Toyota (forget the type name)
2005 Mercedes Benz
2017 Kia Rio
At this moment in time, we are still driving the 2005 Mercedes. We have had work done on it. My husband drives that mostly. I drive the 2017 Kia Rio mostly.
I have always thought Kia Soul is good looking. I wouldn't mind buying one. But, my husband thinks they are tacky looking. He thinks they look like a bread box. Lol

Lets see if I can remember them all: 1964 Corvaire I named Cletus and could never keep brakes. 1966 VW bug, 1966 FORD Mustang (wish I didn't sell it), 1966 GTO, 1974 Datsun 510, 1977 Datsun pickup, 1969 Buick Le Sabre, 1982 Chevy Chevette, 1979 Chevy Silverado, 1972 Dodge Charger third-generation, 1982 Buick Le Sebre, 1998 Chevy Chyenne, 2003 Chevy Silverado, 2004 Saturn VUE, 2011 Hyundai Accent and my current 2013 Chevy silverado 4x4 extended cab I bought brand new. Think will be my last but my son wants to pick his income up more and buy me a new truck in a year or so. Not sure what I would want. I like my Chevys. Of all the cars, I wish I kept the Mustang, Charger and GTO.

What a change of lifestyle over the years, from 1980 two door baby blue Ford to SUV towing package. Have you also looked at a Nissan or Toyota?
