Today I wrote to my very own doctor.

And he came this evening. He put me at ease with all of my pains. Those tummy pains that had me worried were not a hidden tumor but gases. He gave me some drops for it. And the pain in fingers and toes plus a numbness is arthrosis. There´s nothing for it except for pills for the pain.
My mom had other ailments that I don´t have. But she knitted until her very last days. I forgot what is to knit, sew or crochet. My hands are dumb.
I told Oscar ( my doctor and my ex son in law) that in my house we had a birthday elf. And that he knew that his birthday was this month so that he had left a bottle of delicious Venezuelan rum. I like it better than the rum from Cuba.
I just ate a disch of escalivada. This time I added some thinly minced ginger. It ws awesome.
Oscar added a pill for high blood pressure. It seems I have that too.

Oh, good to know about the tummy pains and what was causing them. That darned arthritis. I have too and it really causes me pain in my fingers not to mention my one hip.
My mom taught me to crochet, embroider, knit, all that stuff. She used to tat too. Making a sort of lacey thing. I doubt anyone knows or does it anymore.
I try to get ginger into my diet as much as I can. It's sure good for us. Inflammatory agent.
Most at our age seem to have blood pressure issues.

Yesterday, for the first time, I added some ginger to a escalivada. Is was delicious. I will start to use ginger more.

He is the father of 2 of my grandsons. He was very happy that I remembered his birthday. He wom´t charge me for his visits.

every person has some form of arthritis or the other. You maintain your blood pressure. Other ailments are natural with age

I am glad Oscar came to your home to see you and to help. I know that arthritis can truly hurt...I still remember my aunt's and one of my grandmother's hands. My grandmother had it so bad that two of her fingers were sort of twisted. I hope the medications help you and help your pain.

Eating ginger regularly will help your stomach, and your pain. Maybe even your blood pressure. Pain can make your blood pressure go up.

I liked it so I will add it to my menu. I don´t like to eat something only because it is healthy. Yesterday Tania wrote to me that I should eat tuna with avocado. I eat avocado almost every day because I like it. But I am not so happy about having tuna very often.

I wrote a message to Oscar, my ex son in law. I had asked him to be my doctor but he said he would not charge me as I was family. That was very nice as my daughter and he were divorced decades ago. I told him now that I wanted another visit as I had bought a bottle of the rum I like best for his birthday. And I did have a new list of pains. But there is nothing terrible but old age. And that can´t be helped.

My doctor just added a pill for my fast heartbeat. I have quite a few things going on. It sucks to get old.

I’m glad Oscar was able to put your mind at ease it must be such a relief to know those pains aren’t anything serious. It sounds like he’s taking good care of you. That rum gift from the “birthday elf” made me smile that’s such a sweet touch! And your escalivada with ginger sounds delicious. Take it easy and rest well tonight.
