I got checked yesterday by orthopedic doctor. It wan unplanned but it was great because I didn't wait for long lines of patients.
He explained to me the knee mechanics and was suspecting of Osteoarthritis
. He requested an x-ray of both knees.
Have you in some way experience this?

I have arthritis in my hands but have never had a problem with my knees.
I hope the x-rays don't show problems with your knees.

Yes, very often extra weight is very hard on the knees and legs. Many ortho doctors here will not do a knee replacement on people if they don't lose some weight. I hope you can, so that you can feel better soon.

I have "mild osteo arthritis" in my right knee. Sometimes, I honestly wonder what the doctor's definition of "mild" is.

in the past years, one time i suffered from knee pain which i endured almost a year but i didnt have it check up, i just suspected it was caused by uric acid, or could be from lack of mobility (a common problem as we age). So i started doing leg stretchings dailt and eliminate meat from my diet and i was thankful that my knee healed by itself in time. With osteoarthritis i guess its an inflamation in your knee joints and lack of calcium maybee... I hope you feel better soon with the right medication your doctor will prescribe you..hoping for better results of your xray.
