I will get the apples started soon. First I am going to make more apple butter. The second half bushel might be pie filling. I am getting low on that. I noticed that when I got some out of the freezer for the apple crisp.
I also need to deep clean the litter boxes and the duckie tote. I need to get a new picture of them for you too. They are growing.
It should be a fairly decent day outside. Its sunny and supposed to get in the 50s. The wind is calm. We did get a frost last night. So I will be starting to cut plants back and moving them to the basement too.

Another busy day for you. I love having apple pie filling ready for a cobbler or pie. I think I have 2 jars left from last year...I haven't made any this year. Have a good day, Eva!

@wolfgirl569 - It's sunny and beautiful today, we went out, I stopped at a pastry shop and bough two slices of chestnuts cake, it was delicious but filling.

It's storming here and our high for today is predicted to be 55F. (It's 11:20 am and the temp is 52F now.)
We still need to go pick up some groceries but can't pick up the new glasses until Monday so we'll stay in town to get the groceries sometime this afternoon. (I'm out of bread for sandwiches and used the last of the hamburger yesterday.)

Thanks, gonna be an at home day for me too. I am going to make an apple butter chai, muffin bread. It has cream cheese in the middle. Doesn't that sound fantastic? if it turns out well, I will make a second batch for Thanksgiving.
