I finished my challenging jigsaw

In the lower part of the collage you can see the jigsaw that I finished today.
It’s a bit unusual as what you see on the box isn’t the picture that you’re trying to recreate. You need to imagine the same street but in much more modern times. So there are no horses and carriages but there are cars, motorcycles and mobile phones. They call them 'Wasgij' which is 'jigsaw' backwards.
This is the second one of this sort that I’ve done and, while they are quite a challenge, they are also good fun to do. You do feel quite smart once you have them finished. I started off doing the buildings and skyline as I thought they probably wouldn’t have changed much.
Have you ever tried one of these?

No, I've never done one of those but it does look like fun.

@JudyEv That company wouldn't sell many of them if they weren't doable.

@DaddyEvil I guess you're right but maybe the people who mostly buy them, buy them for others to do - or not!

No. Kudos for finishing it. It looks quite difficult.

Wow, that's cool! I’ve nver seen those Wasgij puzzles before. Must be tricky guessing the “future” version of the picture — I’d probably get stuck halfway

I like hard puzzles. I don't really have time to do them much right now, but they are challenging. This one looks hard!! But it's a really intricate picture!

Congrats that's very good. I have a couple of jigsaw puzzles given to me as gifts in the past. But I have never had the patience to put them together.

I love this! That looked quite the challenge for sure. When we are finally in the house, I have small flex living room for myself and plan a table I can do a puzzle on and be able to leave it with no issues. I'll have to find one of these.

Mom entered me in the British jigsaw championships in 1975! One my first round by completing a 500 in one hour and then, to excuse the pun, fell to pieces on the 1000 in round two

I only vaguely knew about jigsaw competitions. I don't think I'd even pass a qualifying round.

There was a lot of detail and it took me a long time to finish it off.

Wow you did an amazing job on that puzzle.
Nope, I've never tried on like that and it would probably drive me crazy. I do enjoy a challenging puzzle but also like to see what the picture is supposed to look like when finished. I don't think I'd have the patience

I didn't think I'd be able to do the first one but once I go started it wasn't as bad as I thought.

You are not only smart, but also patient
