Well here at the garage. Waiting for the bad news. I told them upfront what I knew was wrong without so they didn't have to reiterate anything. What do you want to bet they will come up with new stuff? Anyway, I will be happy to get out of here. What's up with you?

@Nevena83 Yes, well it was routine as part of an oil change, but I was worried that it might be something more serious. It was not running well on Thursday.

I can understand. Car needed brake fluid but that was all they mentioned.

Actually, thankfully it was painless other than paying them. They added some brake fluid, but said I won't need new brakes for probably 6 months, so that was a relief!

I found out the brakes should be good for 6 months..so maybe they will pass inspection when the time comes

I took my car in for the 15,000 mile service almost a year ago and told them I thought I needed a new battery. I was pleasantly surprised when they said they were recharging it and I was fine. It was a Mazda dealership I hadn't been to before but I appreciate that they didn't take advantage of me. The former one where I bought my car was always very good to me. They plugged a tire for me for free. One of the mechanics literally devised a procedure to fix a known roof leak that now the whole company uses. I'm happy to give those kinds of places my money.

Yes, the oil change itself cost alot compared to days gone by, but it is a good thing I took it in. It needed brake fluid..Nothing else was mentioned...a relief.

I read the comments and see you needed brake fluid. I am hoping that is all the car needs for now.
