Another Apple Day

But I should get them finished today. This will be the last of my canning for the year. I am glad to be done.
I also need to start carrying my bulbs to the basement. We had a killing frost so the plants are dying back. Soon I will be bringing my sponge gourds in to finish drying too. Then I will get the peeled and cut.

I hope they’ve labeled our frost “killing.” Haven’t heard yet. My sinuses would great appreciate the demise of the ragweed.

We have had two big frosts and both were labeled killing frosts. But the allergies are still here, too. I went to the pharmacy and had to stifle sneezing so I don’t think much has changed yet!

I'm with Four Walls on the allergies. The three of us seem to get them in the Spring and in the Fall. Ugh! We have Cottonwoods here and they are awful. And then there's cat hair.

Yesterday I was worried about a package that Amazon said it was supposed to arrive, but they also said it hasn't be shipped out yet. Then late yesterday afternoon, they said it was shipped out so I will get it on Wednesday. I also got groceries, worked on my best friend's diamond painting, and made plans with my best friend to get our ears pierced again on Saturday.

We had frosty temperatures overnight and a very chilly start to the day.
