Do you have bar stools, do you actually use them?

I have some that I can use with my kitchen counter..but it is rare that I actually sit on them, and even rarer that I sit there and have a meal or a beverage or something. Right now, one of them has a receipt and a book on it, and the other one has some cat food or something. I can't really see. Maybe getting them cleaned off will be a project for today. That seems easy enough! I like the way the bar stools look, but they are mostly for show. We had them when I was a kid and they were comfortable. You could swivel them, so we liked them quite a bit.

I have had them twice, but never used them either after my son was grown. He and his friends used them when they were kids.

They are mostly decorative..but I will use them once in a blue moon.

I have two at my kitchen island and I rarely sit on them. They do look nice but not as functional as they would appear to be. I never sit and eat or drink at my counter either.

Most bar stools don't offer back support, so I try not to use them.

You aren't missing much Unless you have some with backs on, they just aren't that comfortable.

@sallypup I will sit on a bar stool in a restaurant if I can get waited on quickly or something, but not much of a fan.

I could bring one out here like a small table, but they aren't really the right height for that and don't,t have much space.

I don't use them ....bring short it is tricky for me to get on and off. They are usually quite high.

I have 3 barstools, they fit under the counter so they take up no room. They don't have backs, they are the saddle style. Honestly, they rarely get used, but when my grands come over the kids like to eat there.

I don't own a bar stool.
I don't remember having one as a kid.
