Thanks J.N.R Dutton for the inspiration, here goes my fall poem! Dear Autumn, Welcome abroad my dear fall friend, look forward to Turkey with Family & Friends, As the leaves change and fall away, I look forward to it all except the climates change, as the leaves dance across my window sill, I look forward to the snow & chills... I tried lol Havent wrote a poem in years!

Hey. I still think you pulled it off here. As for fall, I am not a fan and winter sucks. Maybe I should write a poem of my own expressing those thoughts. lol

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Poetry always has been difficult for me. I have written a few in my day, though. Being a writer for many years, I have always marveled at how difficult poetry can be and how much easier it is to write short stories and novels. It boggles my mind. lol

@BACONSTRIPSXXX one thing that helps me creatively is listening to music.

That's a fairly good attempt. Simple and nice. I love the fall colours. I had opportunity to see them during my stay in other countries.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Right now not really. I am freaking out about having to pack for a trip next week. I hate packing because I don't know the weather in NJ. Also computer websites aren't acting right.

Ha, ha. It started off very strong and must have hit a snowbank at the end. Just kidding! Poems are a challenge, but you got your message across loud and clear. Winter will be coming...

For just getting back into it, pretty good. Poetry is like a muscle, the more you practice it, the stronger you get at it.
