Free double cheeseburger from McDonalds

I don’t really go to McDonalds….only really when the Grandkids want to go…..although having said that I do like the cheesy bacon flatbread that they do as part of the breakfast menu.
However , a few weeks ago we went ( with the Grandkids ) and I won a prize in their Monopoly game.
I wasn’t going to bother with it but I went into town this morning and as it was cold ….and they say we are in for a windy storm …..I thought I would have my freebie.
I could choose either 6 chicken nuggets or a double cheeseburger.
I dont usually have them so I picked the double cheeseburger.
Now, for my honest review ….
It looked like it had been thrown together by a monkey on dr*gs…..but it actually tasted quite nice.
Not bad at all for a freebie.

I like their fries but ( apart from aforementioned flatbread ) it’s not really my sort of food.

I absolutely love the description! We don’t have the flatbread item in America. Now, this morning, I, too, went to McDonald’s, and got a sausage McMuffin with no cheese (I hate American cheese). They had a buy one get one free, so now I have one for breakfast tomorrow. I’m usually not a McDonald’s person, but I needed something quick.1 person likes this

It's really rare for Pretty to feel like getting food from a restaurant and, when she does, it's usually pizza. I like McDonald's and used to stop at one on my way home from work and eat my food before I got home. (Pretty always complained that we ate out too often. But she isn't the one cooking meals several times a day at home. She gets to eat what I've cooked so it's not the same thing.)

Occasionally I'll have a double cheeseburger from McDonalds and sometimes mine look like they were thrown together too at least they taste good
