A working day.

Today came Anita and her nephew to work. That means work for me too.
I have to get out of bed early and plan what they will do. And finish the grocery list so that the groceries come while Anita is here.
Last night I stayed late making a pudding with stale bread. I did not want to lose it and have to throw it out. Part of if ends up as bread crumbs but I had too much. I flavored it with grated orange peel and we almost ate it all as it was delicious.
The sun was shinning so sheets and towels were part of Juanita´s job. I do love that machine!!!
I was happy to find asparagus at the supermarket. That will be my lunch tomorrow. I still havea piece of bread pudding and I bought some almond eclairs.
Tomorrow will be a lazy day. And I have exactly the right book to read.

@marguicha I stopped my prescription pain pills for arthritis and Fibro several years ago and just took Aleve when I needed it. That worked well until this summer and the auto immune stuff kicked in and I had that rash from Yell for 8-9 weeks. After that cleared up, I asked the dr. to try some of the new medication for Fibro. I have been taking that somewhat; the blood pressure issues I'm having now is limiting that medication right now.

@kareng I have the feeling that lately doctors rely too much on pills.
We must let our body help part of the time.

My legs hurt a lot in spite of my pills. I think that I´ll stop taking so many as they don´t do much. I´ll try to walk more instead.

It was! I used to do it often when the girls were small and there was bread left many times. But when my husband got ill, I had to stop cooking it because he should not eat it and loved it too much. And later on I forgot. Now I´ll start making them again. It will also be a saving as I could stop buying so many cakes.

It is a book by a Mexican writer: Gonzalo Celorio. He just got the Cervantes prize. But I did not get past the second chapter. I wrote a post about what happened to my day.

Sounds like some good effort on your part, some taste and well does what you write means that you hang your clothes out for drying just like what we have here?
Anyways, just want to know which book are you reading?

It was. I write in past tense because today I ate the last piece. I´ll make it once a week now instead of giving away the pieces to Luna.
