Every year between November and December. There are certain items that I buy. First there are soft gingerbread cookies. You can only find them in November and December and they taste so good. We bought one pack and they are already gone. Did I tell you they are so good.
And this will sound strange to say. But I have to have chocolate shaped like Santa and bells. I know it is the same chocolate but they taste so much better shaped like Holiday figures. They had snowman and Santa at the store today. I will be buying two of each of them. They just taste so much better.
Last but still just as good is the peppermint candy cane I have to buy the tiny one every year and of course a box of the bigger ones. Oh how I just love those candy canes. Not any of the weird flavors that they have added but just the peppermint ones. I am sure there are other items that you buy only during November and December. I used to get my kids the life saver box. Christmas stuff animals
The picture is mine made by me.

I love Reese's trees and eggs..One thing that I always seem to up with is those cherry coridals, but honestly I am not crazy about them. I just buy them because they are seem holidayish, pumpkin or eggnog I am there.

My mom loved those Lifesavers Christmas “books”. She used to ask for it every year for Christmas as a child so I would buy them for her every Christmas as an adult.
I love Egg nog, and I wish it were sold year round. But, maybe that would make it less special. Also, a local burger place sells gallons of pumpkin ice cream, and it’s delicious.

This isn't food, but I really like the cinnamon-scented pinecones they put out this time of year. They put them outside at the grocery store where I go and I always take a deep breath through my nose when I go by.

I love making gingerbread anything, and it always makes the house smell so good, too. Cookies are a favorite here. I am not really into very much Christmas candy, but I do love peppermint. My son in law always eats the peppermint candy canes my daughter buys to put on the tree, he sneaks in to the tree and grabs a candy cane...and in a few days they are gone. He loves them!

That reminds me to get some gingerbread tea. As with the soft cookies, it's only available this time of year.

My husband loved the peppermint candy canes. That was the only holiday candy he would buy.

For me as the weather grows colder and the days darker, my sweet tooth comes in mighty handy. And holiday time is a great excuse to overindulge a bit, lol.
I think food tastes much better during the holidays.

The chocolate shaped like Santa and snowman lend a festival mood to your life.
