"High calorie humans" are no longer welcome in the US

Only the Trump administration could have come up with that term. It means obese people, overweight people, fat people, call them what you want. But seriously? High calorie humans? In this current hellscape administration that is trying to basically eliminate immigration they now have told the offices that issue US visas to consider applicant's health and financial status to see if they will be able to support themselves and their medical care without relying on federal assistance. There are other health issues included aside from obesity like sleep apnea, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, "respiratory diseases" (asthma??), and "mental health disorders" (depression? anxiety?). Oh that is rich when most of the country is dealing with at least one of those issues let alone several. Going after obese people to save America money? HAHA he should kick all of the red state fat people off of federal assistance. That would save billions. Who knows? That may be next since Trump is so stupid that he has cut off SNAP from a program that is mostly utilized by his MAGA cult. Oh yeah and he wants to cut Affordable Care Act (aka "Obamacare") subsidies and other health subsidies which is going to jack up the price of health insurance for millions and millions of Americans. Guess who mostly relies on those too? I can't stand Trump but I would have a modicum of respect for him if he just flat out said he only wants rich white people to immigrate. MTG has earned some from me for speaking out against the ACA subsidy ending. Just speak the truth. I may not like it but at least I'll know you are telling it straight. ETA--what about "high calorie humans" like bodybuilders, weightlifters, marathon runners? They aren't obese despite what their BMI (stupid index) might say.

From what I’ve read, the USA has the majority of the world’s obese people anyway. The UK has more than its fair share. I’m not one.

I wonder what group he'll target next. Half the people in the government there look to be pretty big.

Well, letting people into the U.S.A was a wrong move for a long time. Many illegal immigrants and legal immigrants rely on free support and free money given to them. This makes them not willing to work and support themselves. The money that goes to support them comes from the taxes that are paid by hard working people. I see on the news what has happened to europ countries: they let many immigrants in, and support them, but, alass, those immigrants try to impose by force their lifestyle on those countries. In the U.S.A I see on the news many manifestations supporting hamas and anti israel. I believe those are not originally american citizens, but, radicals from other countries. It is about time to get heal the U.S.A and think forward, where your country wants to be at.

As an Israely citizen, I need to watch the news and be alert, I see how the usa helps us with bringing back the corps of israeli soldiers from gaza, held by hamas. I hope eventually we can get rid of hamas and all radical terror from iran, yamen and etc... Supporting those terrorist groups is the same set of mind of supporting illegal and legal immigrants who bring nothing back but take money from taxes. Be healthy, and bring value to society, bring peace.

@NJChicaa I can show you what it means my news are skewed: there is a youtube video made by @BetterBachelor. His recent video is called: "Men and their rage against the machine". He speaks about the topic you post: a high calorie lady gets to have her shopping carts full of groceries for free. Retirement is going to go up to 70 years old, for this money being given away.
