Today is my "catch up on bills" etc. day.

I don't work today, so I have designated it as my "catch up" day. I already paid my credit card bill, and bought some 3-month CDs (just under 4 per cent interest now). Next I will look for my PG&E (gas and electric) bill and pay that off as well. I will try to find other"catch up" things to do before I settle in with my guitar. Do you have"catch up" days? Do you pay your credit card off each month?

I pay my credit card off each month. The electricity bills go directly to the bank and they are automatically paid, same for the Internet. I am trying to make my life easier.

Pretty pays the bills now since I always had to ask her if we had the money (When I added her to my checking account, she switched it to online and I couldn't see our balance anymore.) so it was just easier for her to take over that job. We don't use a credit card. I hope your day is going well. It's raining and windy here today but the temp is not bad at 60F at noon.

Can't she "train" you how to use the online account? I do most of my banking online now.

@TheHorse It's locked to her laptop. I rarely go into her bedroom. When I need something, I still go into our bank.

Our bill day is Friday mornings, I do it as soon as I get up, well after I have a glass of Cranberry Raspberry Juice and watch a guy I watch on YT then it is bills. Then I let hubby know what is left, if anything. We got in a bind and are now trying to catch up and pay off cards. He is working Saturdays to help get things paid faster but sure takes a long time to pay them down. Told him he needs to make choices on what ones to chop up, that I don't want to do this again.

Always good to be up to date on the bills. I have all but a couple more to pay. These have a date set by when I signed up for it so I have to wait each month to get it paid. I'd sure like to buy some CDs. In another life perhaps. I pay my credit card off most months.

Most of my "stuff" (banking, etc) is either online or automatic.

@TheHorse We don't have too much done automatically. We like to keep an eye on what's going out just in case someone slips in extra payment or they add extra charges without us realising or whatever.

Yes, I charge as much as I can on the card to get points; and then I pay it off each month. I have lots of spare time so I rarely need to catch up.

I have two catch up days every month when it comes to bills. Half of my bills are due at the beginning of the month and the other half in the middle. I try to keep a low balance on my credit cards so I can pay it each month and avoid interest but my Amazon card has a tendency to be higher so it's unlikely I can get it paid off each month.

Do you know what interest rate they are charging you?
