I’ve written before about Nungarin and the market day we attended. I loved the creative metalwork that was on display.
This mother and child is created from a large and a small pair of pliers along with other bits and pieces. They’re pretty cute. It’s a good thing I’m decluttering or I might have bought these.
The guy who made these is an engine-driver with the railways. Most of Vince’s family were involved in the railways so he and the guy shared a few stories.

The woman's dress is interesting... I've seen a picture (within the last 10 years, I believe) that a movie star or model was wearing that looked just like that but theirs was made of cloth, of course. The ice cream cone the kid is holding is interesting, too.
I'm sure Vince and the artist enjoyed talking together.

That’s so cute! They look like they’re singing!

@JudyEv — it matches his ice cream cone.

It's truly amazing what some people can do with old, discarded items and some imagination. I love this!

I know what you mean. I already have more than enough knick-knacks the way it is!

I like these, quite creative. You actually forget that they are tools. My dad's dad spent a few years making doll furniture, etc. out of cans. Great, creative people.

Now I've had a better look, I think the clip is just to hold the man's business card so really nothing to do with the child.
