That They Would Even Have to Publish This Article is a Real Sign of the Times

I have lived in this world now for 74 years. I have seen some idiotic things, some silly and some downright bizarre things in my day. I remember growing up at my grandparent's house and the lovely relationship we had with all the neighbors. Now I see cable series about the arguments and fights neighbors have across the country. This article I saw today made me chuckle but as I thought about it I felt it become bizarre and show what people are like nowadays. If we have a house, we have leaves falling on the lawn every year about this time. We just rake them up and dispose of them, right? If the neighbor has trees and the leaves come over to our yard, we rake them up too. Why is there any need for this type of article?

I think maybe the magazine was short on articles that week.

I just let the leaves decompose naturally. We don't have trees in our front yard but always have piles of leaves from the neighbors across the street. It's not hurting us if the leaves decompose where they land when they fall off the trees.*shrug*

I just raked up the leaves that were in my yard when I lived in Colorado. I did not care who's leaves they were.

People are getting more and more weird. I raked my leaves and those falling from the tree of the neighbor and he did the same. We never had arguments.

And this is how adults and good neighbors are supposed to act.

Yes, they are. Too much negativity in the news and it causes a lot of anxiety I think.

Well, when the country is populated by idiots who would elect a criminal scam artist to lead them, is there any wonder?
