I Woke Up Hungry

Happy Friday Everyone! it's overcast and dismal looking outside with rain at some point. At least it's not that white stuff and it's too warm for the rain to freeze and make things treacherous. It's been a long time since I've woken up hungry. My routine is to take my morning pills and have my coffee. It isn't until around 11am that I have my breakfast. When I got up this morning I couldn't believe how hungry I was and my stomach was saying feed me!! My daughter will be away for the weekend. Tomorrow she is going to their annual Friendsgiving and will celebrate with her friends, sleep overnight and then head out to Bethlehem, Pa for some sort of Christmas festival on Sunday. I'll have some time alone to go through a few things I ordered for Christmas without her being here to see what i bought (for her). There isn't many places here to hide things and I always try to make sure that she has a few surprises to open on Christmas morning. Aside from that, there isn't much new. Hows' your day going? Anything fun planned for the weekend/

Whether I'm hungry or not, I always have to eat when I take my morning meds (usually at 5 am). If I don't eat when I take the meds, I'll get sick and lose them. *shrug* (Some of them taste really bad going down and even worse coming back up! ) I did all my normal chores after I took my meds this morning. I went to sleep for a couple of hours and am awake again now. I need to call the garage and get an estimate for some brake work. I noticed the brakes grabbing when we were coming home yesterday. Other than that, nothing else is going on. I'm hoping Pretty will wake up early enough we can grab some late lunch today. If she's still asleep at 4 pm, I may go grab myself something to eat and let her make her own lunch. Around 5 pm it starts getting dark-ish and I can't see to drive after that. I hope you have a good day.

@Marilynda1225 I started sneezing about an hour ago and accidentally woke Pretty up. When she came out of the bathroom, I asked if she was going right back to sleep but she said she'd rather go out and get something to eat. We're eating lunch now. I take Methimazole for hyperthyroidism and it's the nasty tasting pill. The only thing the doctor told me to avoid was grapefruits and grapefruit juice. Apparently grapefruits cancel out the medication. (I have had some grapefruit juice since the doctor told me that and I did start having symptoms again. *sigh*)

@DaddyEvil I take thyroid medicine for hypothyroidism which is opposite of you. I also can't have grapefruit or grapefruit juice which i guess messes up the medicine Glad you accidentally woke up Pretty and got lunch

I take thyroid meds so I can't have dairy for about 2 hrs so that's usually why I eat late. Most of my breakfast choices are dairy of some sort bit not every day. My daughter suggests repeatedly that I take me meds early like you do but so far I haven't listened. Hope you get a decent estimate on your brakes and Pretty gets up early enough to enjoy lunch together. This early darkness really messes up the day.

I also ordered a few things through Amazon and I think I need a new smartphone. This old one does not update the apps anymore.

We are about three hours from our stop in Texas for the night. We just stopped at Burger King for their fine dining. I hope you enjoy your weekend, and that it gets a little more sunny for you.

Day has been going OK, just as per usual. I am usually slightly hungry when I wake up. I love breakfast though, so I always eat it. Craft show and Itavie tomorrow..a place that has good desserts.

As soon as I"m done here I may have an early lunch instead of breakfast. Weekends are usually lonely for me. Haven't heard from cousin #3; so I doubt she will be coming over today.

Oh it's nice that you are planning surprise gifts for her! Not all days are same..I too wake up really hungry on some days and really bloated on other days lol...human body is a mystery Weekends are the same for me...just a lot more sleeping I guess
