Do You Watch "Funny" Videos on YouTube?

I told Google I was bored and ask it for funny videos I could watch... What it gave me were videos that had "funny" in their name. I don't know about anybody else, but funny to me isn't watching people fall down unless it's somebody I know... After I ask them if they're okay and they tell me they are, then I might laugh. This is the link to the video YouTube gave me. You watch it and see if it's funny to you.

From time to time, I do look at the sport's funny videos like bowling and baseball on You Tube.

@crossbones27 Pass! Normally, if YT gives me any sports videos in the recommendations, I mark them as "Don't Recommend Channel" and hope I never see them again.

I don't like what I've seen of that program America's Funniest Videos- people hitting concrete makes me cringe not laugh.

I watched the video, and honestly, I don’t really find it funny when someone gets hurt by accident. Humor can still be cute and entertaining without anyone getting hurt.

I often watch exactly that kind of videos. The accidents that happen to the others make us laugh.

@LadyDuck YouTube has a policy that people aren't supposed to show videos where people get hurt. That's why some of those clips are so short. The video would be demonetized if YT found out they were showing videos like that.

I can laugh at things like that if I KNOW the people aren't hurt... But a lot of those people did look like they were hurt. That's why the videos are so short, so you can't see they're hurt.

My grandson and I spend hours watching them. Fun! I do agree with you. Falling down or disgracing others isn't funny to me at all. My stepbrother used to love The Three Stooges. I hated them.

Although "some" fall clips can be funny, I'm not into laughing at injuries. As a person who has had various sport injuries, I know I wasn't laughing when these unfortunate spills happened. It seems like most folks in this video were ok though - pretty mild incidents (but nothing I'd put in the "funny" category).

@DaddyEvil I didn't know about the ban - but that makes sense. Do you ever watch AFV - America's Funniest Videos? I know they have those falling videos there too sometimes, but again, they're not funny to me.

@much2say I've seen them before but didn't think those were funny, either. Dad used to watch some show back when I was a teen that was supposed to be funny and those usually weren't funny, either. Dad would sit there and giggle over them.

Someone getting hurt is never funny. I like to look up old Carol Burnette show skits, funny cats and dogs, or silly British episodes like Mrs. Brown's Boys.

Not so much like the one you shared in the link. When I want to unwind, I usually go to YouTube — almost everything is there. I’m not really into those ‘funny’ videos, but sometimes I watch Just For Laugh Gags just for a quick laugh.

Sometimes, but not always. Most of the time I am watching something useful or trying to. But I do wind up down the rabbit hole quite a lot as well, and that takes me to places that leave me shaking my head a lot. As for fail videos—yeah, they're funny. lol
