Now tell me, would you think you were seeing things if you were out walking by City Hall in Newport Beach, California, and suddenly saw a ring of 14 large white bunnies? Would you perhaps start wondering what you had been eating and drinking?” Well, these bunnies do exist. From what they say, this is a sculpture called “Bunnyhenge,” and there are 14 large white bunnies arranged in a circle just sitting there looking at one another. They were placed there in 2013, and since this public artwork cost the city a pretty penny, many residents were not at all happy with these bunnies. However, the bunnies survived, and they are still there to be looked at and admired. Perhaps an Alice will come along and think she has made a wrong turn and wound up in Wonderland again, or perhaps the Mad Hatter will invite the bunnies to tea. Has anyone seen this sculpture?
