Good mornig, friends.
Yesterday I filled my suitcase (I´m at Dixie´s as I´m going to the doctor after lunch. It was scorching hot so I put in my suitcase garments I would use in Aruba.
But winter is here again. So Dixie said that she´d have to lend me some of her clothes. I hope they fit as she is slimmer now. Fortunatly, she has clothes thay she has worn for decades.
I don´t understand the climate change. It is hotter and colder. It is weird and unpredictable.

I hope Dixie has some clothes that will fit you, too.
The weather here just dropped below freezing this morning. At least we'll get up to around 4C by this afternoon. I hate cold weather. At least Pretty and I don't have anywhere we need to be today.

I don´t like weather below freezing. Even 4C is too much for me. But I don´t have CH in my house. Dixie´s leggings fit me perfectly well

@LadyDuck I have gone several times to Florida. One of the times, in the north it was so cold that the poor trees had ice hanging from their branches in spite of a sophisticated way of heating them.

@marguicha I remember when, years ago, we went to Florida, I did not bring with me warm clothes, we were even dressed for hot weather and when we landed it was snowing.

@May2k8 Winters where I live are not very cold either. We don´t have snow, only a cold rain. It is colder in the far south though

It seems that we´ll have to go back to travelling with a trunk instead of a light suitcase with 4 wheels.

@marguicha Our friends are off to Japan soon on a skiing trip. They have to take bulky coats and big boots. They won't be skiing but the kids and grandkids will be.

It's not too bad today; but the temperatures will be dropping below freezing; and we have Winter Storm Warnings and Gale Force Wind warnings.

It's cold here tonight. way below freezing. Snow and maybe some ice coming Friday night and Saturday. The wind here has been so terrible the past few days.
I do have to agree that the weather is often very strange.

It always stays on the warmer side in November here in Oklahoma. At the end of November, like now, it starts getting chilly, finally. I need a break from the heat, and winter finally gives it to me. But, it’s like that almost every year in my state.

@marguicha Usually, a few light dustings of snow. But every few years we get a big snow storm, and are covered in it. Most of the time though, it’s not much.

It is weird and unpredictable here as well, but I supposed Southern California has always been this way 
. We have more hot days than cold . . . but some days can surprise us like the heavy rains we had last week. I have lived here all my life . . . and I will tell you the weather from my childhood is different from what we have now. No matter what the cause, climate change is real.

I have heard all my life say the the climate in hte part of my country where I live is similar to that of California.

Same here we had sunny days in the 70s and now they temps are plunging and rain is coming and at night it will be in the 40s. I hope spring finds you again,
