When II went to the doctor with Dixie, he found me a lot better than what I thought. He told me that most of my problems were due to anxiety. That I can deal with.
Humberto brought me home and I have been reading since I came back. Now, because I saw a picture of Rudolph Valentino, I´m reading The Sheik online. Go figure! It was written on 1921. At that time the book was at the limits of porn.
Today I got up for a while and made the most delicious seafood risotto. I have a couple of servings left for later.
The risotto was part of doctor´s orders. He told me to eat well.
Tonight I will cook some spinach with cream and butter. I might boil a tiny potato to go with it.

I was wondering how your doctor appointment went but didn't want to be nosy and ask you. I'm glad things went better than you thought they would go. 
Reading interesting books/ebooks is always a good way to pass the time.
I'm glad you're enjoying the risotto and still wish you could come eat smoked turkey with me.

Turkey is not my favorite meat. But I can turn a turkey´s thigh into a wonderful thing by adding onion, appples and other niceingredients before I roastt it.

@DaddyEvil No. The only thing that I´ve eaten smoked is pork that you buy at the supermarket.

@marguicha Have you ever eaten smoked turkey? It tastes totally different from regular baked turkey.

@LadyDuck And when I was a teen I wanted to be a movie star.

@celticeagle I read about the movie stars sometimes but I have only watched few silent movies that I love. All of them are Charlie Chaplin movies.

@JudyEv In the case of colonoscopy, what I hate most is that I have to take some horrid stuff and stay near the toilette. But that is not going to happen for the moment. I think that I´ll have to have a gastroscopy at some point too. I once had helicobacter pilory and that is not nice.

@MarieCoyle My husband used to tell me that I was a wonderful cook "when I wanted to cook". Lately I´ve been lazy but now doctors have told me that I should eat better so I´m trying. I have to discover how to cook what I like but not stay standing in front of the pot. But today I made such a wonderful risotto that it was as good as going to a good restaurant. And I made enough to freeze 2 servings.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving here and today I was not in the mood to cook after making food to take to that...plus, we have leftovers from it all. So we made do with that, it's not often we have such yummy leftovers.

I am so glad you are all right, Yes, anxiety is something you can deal with I should now I have had to deal with it most of my adult life and now found that my writing and working online helps me get through my days,
