It's a beautiful morning. It's cloudy, the temperature is a perfect 28 F, and it snowed during the night. Yes, it's beautiful.
Today will be somewhat busy. My friend is picking me up in less than an hour for rock painting. Which means I won't be home until after 3 today. Then I have prayer in the upstairs lounge at 6. I head that, so I can't just decide not to go. Besides, prayer is important. In between, I'll work notifications and write.

You've let some of your snow escape again! We're supposed to get more during the night tonight and I don't want it! We're supposed to reach 49F by late this afternoon and I am hoping that will finish melting the snow off my car. (I need to go out and start it and let it run to make sure the battery stays charged and I don't want to deal with snow.)

@MarshaMusselman We had freezing rain before we started getting snow. I can see all of my car except the windshield... Apparently, the glass is colder than the rest of the car.
Be careful if you need to go outside.

@DaddyEvil we got a dusting of snow sometime after the freezing rain was done. I did salt some of the sidewalks last night so this morning those sections weren't too bad.
My husband had an appt at the hospital this morning so I went out to scrape his windows. Even after using a rain x type spray it only took off the snowy layer and it took a bit to get thru the ice until his car was warmed up more.
We were going to do a very small shop but until all the doors are thawed I think we should wait.
I do hope to salt more of the sidewalks in front of our house because we're expecting a delivery. But I'm warming up a bit first. The feels like temp is eight out there.

Snow is better than freezing rain which is what we're getting right now. And tomorrow high will be 11. Even if it's sunny I don't know whether anything will melt.

Is the table in the hallway outside your apartment? The prayer time is in your apartment or living facility? If so, that's nice.
I signed up to go to cardio swim class tonight but I'm having second thoughts. I looked outside at our cars and it looks like it might be raining and freezing. I still need to check the weather for tonight before deciding. I've not fallen for about ten years and am trying not to start that again. I might have to take a step into the porch and see if it is freezing or just appears to be.
We're getting a cold front tonight and tomorrow the high is about 11.
Other than that I might watch a show with my husband and maybe go on my PC and do some bookkeeping.

@just4him I did cancel the swim class and waited until this morning to do more of the salting. I thought maybe it would be a bit lighter than it was.

I hadn't slept in a couple of days; so this morning I kept falling asleep. Now I'm here trying to catch up. When I'm done I'll eat dinner and watch some TV. I need to start on 2025 taxes but not today.

My day is a bit simpler. I’ll mostly be catching up on chores and some online stuff, and maybe later I’ll take a little break to relax. Nothing too busy, but enough to keep me moving.

We have a sunny day here today but it's really, really cold. No exciting plans for me. Basically a typical day.

in calcutta it never snows. at the end of christmas temperature will come down to only 10 degree celsius. I can understand how cold it will be in your country
