Week of soup

Monday evening I made cabbage soup with cremini mushrooms for dinner. I had a huge bowl of it. It was pretty good.
It was even better Tuesday and Wednesday. I’m gonna have it today again and probably on Friday as well. This is the one soup that I can eat for many days and not get tired of it. It’s comfort food.
There will definitely be soup left in the pot after Friday’s dinner, but that I will probably end up throwing away.

I've never made cabbage soup. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Once in a while I will fry sausage with cabbage. That's always good. (Pretty won't eat it, though.)

Haven’t had sausage and cabbage in a long time. That’s delicious.

@lovebuglena I really do like it but Pretty complains about the odor of cooking cabbage so I make a huge batch when I make it and freeze most of it. She doesn't complain about the odor when I microwave it.

Your week long cabbage soup sounds like it must have been good. I think we are having chili tonight for dinner.

Today is the last day of the soup. I love it and all but I think 5 days is more than enough.

Soup is an economical way to stretch your food budget, and it sounds like yours was very good.

Can you freeze some of it so you don't have to throw it out?

I shared some with my mom and the little that was left over I threw away. Should’ve just given all of it to my mom.
