The Vet Sent Flowers

There was a knock at the door a few minutes ago. We weren't expecting anyone. It was a flower delivery sent from the vet hospital where Mittens was taken last night. What a nice gesture. Josh has made a memorial downstairs, and this will be added to it. The vet hospital also gave him a small plaque with Mitten's paw prints in it and a tiny bottle with a tuft of Mitten's fur enclosed.
This vet is so nice. It is the same one where my grandmother used to bring our animals back when I was a child.
We will be picking up Mitten's ashes January 3rd.

Virtual hugs and sorry you lost Mittens but you know up there he is free and happy and chasing butterflies and will always be around in spirit,

It is very sad but Josh is really upset. He had Mittens in his room and was taking care of him every day. He would offer his water and food each day and was so good with him. Now he blames himself for not doing more.
