Broccoli and Cheese Soup

We are actually having this delicious soup for the second time this week. I love the flavor, and it has become quite a family favorite with us. We were just in the mood for it since it has been raining out most of the day and that is a great time for soup. Plus, my daughter got some of what we call soup scoopers in the food box this time. They are each about two inches long, spoon shaped and have herbs and cheese in them. Kind of little bready do-dads. Pretty tasty.

I always add chicken to broccoli and Cheddar soup. It's my favorite! 
I make a big batch every couple of months, all through the year.
I've never heard of soup scoopers.

I'm the same. I do eat some soup in sprind and summer but not as much as I do in the fall and winter.

The food scoopers sound good. I can't have dairy cheese anymore; but the soup sounds good.

@LindaOHio .......Yeah, that would stink big time. I'm very lucky. I don't have any allergies or extreme problems. Am just on the verge of some.

@celticeagle I've had to make a complete diet change. I'm not happy; but the alternative is dialysis; and I don't want to go there.

I am sure it's delicious. I love broccoli and for years I loved this soup. Then something inside of me decided that I had to be really careful about dairy, as too much of it can make me so sick now...I can eat broccoli just fine. I can eat some cheese. Put them together in a soup, and I can't eat it without feeling sick. I wish I could, that soup is so yummy.

I know, but I love broccoli so at least I can still enjoy that. For some reason when the broccoli and cheese are together, I just get sick from it,please eat a bowl for me!

While we had Broccoli in Soup before, we have not had a Cheese and Broccoli combination.
Any picture of Soup Scoopers.
I am rather keen to see that.

It is very good tasting. I took no picks of the 'scoops'. Just an oddity we got in our food box this time. They often have obscure things like this.
