Skies Gone By

We only see the skies right above the house. Either trees block our view to the East or houses block the view to the West. I've gotten out of the habit of looking at the sky. Those are beautiful photos.

Your photo is a beautiful collage. It's been constant rain, hail and occasional two minutes of sun peeping only to start again. Before this storm, we had some really pretty skies. This is one I took of the Willapa below us. I think it was in October I took this one.

We do get some wild and lovely sunsets around here. Sunrises too I suppose but I don't see them often. We had some weird sky shenanigans going on the other day. I looked out and it was very dark, almost black across the sky. I was concerned because my daughter had gone to her chiropractor appointment and was without a umbrella. A few minutes later I looked out again and all that black was gone and just the usual gray dullsville remained. Weird how the sky goes.

Today they were sunny and temps normal but they will go down again, I hope you have a good start to the Christmas week,

These are really lovely skies. How nice to have these to look back on from time to time - or when the current sunset/sunrise isn't spectacular.

That camera of yours is working overtime capturing those beautiful skyscapes! We get some nice summer sunsets by the ocean OT. I usually miss the sunrises as I sleep through them, lol.

Oh your photos are gorgeous ! There are times when we marvel at nature's sky paintings . . . but I don't always think to capture them. I really need to take more photos.
