Big rain!

We had quite the rain storm last night. The gutters were overflowing and there were no gaps in the rain. It wasn't really a hard rain. Just medium and steady, like a rainy Seattle day.
Right now it is cloudy and calm. I will be off to practice with Hair of the Dawg this afternoon. No Christmas songs--wheee! I have $200.00 in cold hard cash for my band mates. As we local musicians like to say, "There's tens of dollars out there to be made playing music."

"Hair of the Dawg" - is that a music group name.
Monday went fine with not much work but some warming sunshine amid cold winds.

The day started out with heavy clouds but those cleared off and it was sunny and fairly warm the rest of the day. It IS supposed to cloud back up tonight but no rain is expected tonight.
I have a doctor appointment first thing in the morning. The eye specialist wants to check my eyes again after he prescribed some steroid drops for the last three weeks that I use three times a day... Steroid drops always make my eyes feel better but I can't take them for very long. The doctor claims they can hurt the rest of my system if I keep using them.
I'm just hoping the sun is up by the time we have to leave for the appointment or I won't be able to see the lines on the highway to stay in my own lane. (I usually follow another vehicle when that happens but I can't see turns when I do that. 
)

I watched the US weather for a bit this morning. I think you are going to get a lot of rain, your area has flood watches/warnings. Get out your boat, Horsie..you may need it!

My Monday was busy with three medical appointments and a trip out of town to Sam's Club. Weather was very nice. Today it is fog, all day until midnight.

It’s nice and sunny today. Made an appointment for tomorrow morning to get it out of the way instead of messing with it after Christmas. Christmas it will be 78 degrees. I guess it’s back to shorts weather.

Is the wood stove in your cabin? $200? After you divvy it up, don't spend it all in one place. My Monday was good. Cousin #2 was here doing her usual. It's always nice to have company.
