So the other day i got into a minor accident and my card has to be repainted. I picked it today but I'm so disappointed. I'm annoyed by the over 15 people in that garage. How could none of them notice they used a different color code! Now My car is new and has two different colors. original is pearl/champagne white tone while what they used is cool silver-white. nkt!!!

I'd be upset over that, too. They should repaint it to match the original color.

Definitely frustrating! Especially when the car is new and you trusted professionals to get it right. A color mismatch is not a small detail, particularly with pearl or champagne whites that are very specific. With so many people involved, it’s reasonable to expect at least one of them to notice the wrong shade. That was unbelievable. Your annoyance makes complete sense, and you’re not overreacting at all. It is natural to act in that way. Seeing two different whites on the same car would bother anyone every time they looked at it. You should take photos in good daylight to clearly show the difference. Go back to the garage and calmly but firmly ask them to redo it using the correct color code. This is their mistake, not something you should have to accept. Hopefully they take responsibility and fix it properly without extra cost to you. All the best!

Thank you. The good thing is the boss accepted the mistake and requested I return it for repainting on 5th January. Since the garage is close to where I work, I will be visiting regularly to ensure they are doing the right thing. There was even paint overflow which to me was out of recklessness

They maybe hoped you would not notice, but I would be having a fit about this.

I'm sure they thought they would get away because I'm a young lady I would not pay much attention!

That is really annoying. Can you make them redo it? I guess it's not worth the effort.

How they did so!!?? Are they stupid?? I can imagine your disappointment

Now they have to repaint your car, they made the mistake, it's up to them to remedy.
