My First Christmas Outside My Own Country

This is my first time celebrating Christmas in the USA. Sadly, before Christmas, we received devastating news.
Based on my previous post, we found out that our baby had a slow heartbeat of only 87 bpm. The clinic asked us to return after two weeks to check again. We were hoping and praying that the heartbeat would improve, but when we had another ultrasound, we were told that our baby no longer had a heartbeat.
This was our first baby, and it has been incredibly hard to accept. That is why it took me some time to write this post here on MyLot. Tomorrow is my scheduled D&C.

Oh, I am so, so sorry!! Not what anyone ever wants to go through. I've walked that walk and it is just heartbreaking. People do not always realize how much this can hurt, the pain runs deep. You will be in my prayers.

The pain and hurt of the loss is harder than many people realize. Give yourself some time and some grace to heal a bit,and to grieve in the way you need to. Big giant hug!
