Monday (what a blah day)

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a crazy weather day here this morning. We have warmer temperatures above freezing so the icy stuff we got yesterday is melting. That's the good news. But, since it's warmer we have dense fog which will switch over to gusting winds when the temperatures drop by afternoon. Our trash pick-up was delayed due first to the Christmas holiday and then delayed again due to freezing icy conditions. So, it's supposed to be picked up today and I'm hoping they come early enough before the weather changes again. I haven't been here for a few days and did have a wonderful Christmas and birthday. Having the family together is always fun and the only two missing were my oldest grandson and his wife. They weren't able to travel to join us and certainly were missed. All the holiday hoopla left me exhausted but a good exhausted. My daughter went back to work this morning so we had from Christmas through the weekend to relax and just enjoy the quiet. Now it's time for me to get back into my routine and get ready to ring in the New Year.
