I'm praying 2026 will be a whole lot better than 2025 was. Today it's actually cold, it's 40f, with winds up to 15mph and the humidity is at 79%, that's pretty high for this region, so it feels like 32f, I know to some of you that feels like spring but here it feels like winter. BURRRRRRR Just a few days ago I took this video of Roscoe digging to China, it was 75f then, cheeeeeze, why can't the weather gradually build down to freezing??

I love those two cuties of yours! Although Saturday it was 86 degrees, today it is 30 degrees, and easily feels like legit winter. I’m wishing you a blessed New Year!

Thank you You must be west of my location, last week we were mostly in the low 70s but now we're in the mid 40s to 50s, I just pray it won't get too dang cold I can't wait to be in the 80s once more.

I really hope 2026 brings you a much gentler and happier stretch than 2025 did. I too personally want 2026 to be better than 2025 in all respects although challenges will be higher. That kind of cold hits differently when you’re not used to it at all. Forty degrees with wind and high humidity cuts right through you. I know some people call that mild, but context matters a lot here. It definitely sounds and feels like winter where you are. The sudden swing from seventy-five to freezing is just rude weather behavior. A gradual cooldown would make so much more sense. Hope you are taking care of yourself. That video of Roscoe digging in warm weather must already feel unreal. Here’s hoping the cold passes quickly and better days roll in with the new year. Enjoy the time!

Thank you so much. Yes, I sometimes feel foolish calling my cold days cold when people eastward of my location are dealing with blizzards and a lot of snow, that I could not handle. I hope it is warm where you are and that your winter is a mild one.

It's almost always windy here sometime between Jan 1 and June 1, it's what it is and it's normal here. I just pray 2026 will be better for me than 2025 has been
