I think I have too many candles.

Last night, I lit this candle pictured. It smelled SO good (5 stars from me). But then I went to bed (on the couch), all of a sudden it was like a waft of fragrances overtook my senses. I sat up, looked around, and counted 15 candles (ranging from tiny to medium) neatly lined up at various parts of the living room (I didn’t actually do that, the lady who was in my apartment while I was gone arranged them that way).
This morning, it doesn’t seem like I’m being overloaded at at all, but last night I was thinking, enough. What can I say? I love quality candles, and if I can get them free, I’m going to use them. 
But do you have enough of something? Like you really shouldn’t get more, but you know you will?

Poor you!
I like candles, too. I didn't know you could get "too many" of them. 
I have way too many books. They're in totes in the garage and I can't find someone to give them to. I've also got 4 or 5 thousand ebooks on my phone, too. (I prefer reading paper and ink books but we don't have room in this house for them. *shrug*)1 person likes this

Is your local library interested in your books? It would be a shame for no one to want them.
Now, if you ever change your mind about me sending you a candle, let me know! I wouldn’t send you any of the stinkers (I DO get stinkers).

@AmbiePam No, the library here stopped accepting donations years and years ago. They said everybody was going to ebooks. *shrug* That was true but they're still open so that doesn't make a lot of sense.
But can I trust you on that? 
When we're around candles, Pretty is always telling me to sniff them and she DOES hand me stinkers!

It seems that if I have anything I have more than I need of it, whatever it is. I do not do too many candles, although we liked burning citronella candles on the table while we ate last year. It was a bad year for flies.

I love nice candles. If you have a lot of them that have not been used yet, you can seal them in a ziplock until you light it the first time. It saves the fragrance well for some time. Or if it’s like a Yankee candle in the jar with a tight lid, they hold their fragrance for a long time.

Ziplocks (or their knock-offs, which I use often) are great to seal things up to make them last longer. Plus, if you aren't using them for something messy and just trying to keep your items ''nice'' they can be used again. I love them!
