I unplugged the Christmas tree for the last time this morning I will be putting it and all the decorations away today. When will you be undecorating?
I was hungry when I got up so I had some scrambled eggs with peppers and cheese, and a piece of rye and cranberry orange toast. I bought that before Christmas intending to serve and just found it in the bread box yesterday .

I leave my decorations up until Candlemas (Feb 2). I love the decorations so I enjoy having them up as long as possible. I leave my little tree up all year and just change the decorations with the season.

Nuce, I have a little tree I could do that with. I sure don't need more stuff, but something like that might be fun to have around.

Oh, your breakfast sounds SO good! I’m jealous!
I didn’t have any Christmas decorations up (couldn’t find them), but I do hope to get that wreath behind my TV off the wall. Ten years is too long, even if you can’t see it. I just keep forgetting to ask someone to help when they come over. I just can’t reach it.

You need to find them by next year. They will help make your place bright and cheery.

My daughter has a small table size tree she keeps up all year. I have one made of mercury glass that I have up from a few days after Halloween until early January. One upstairs and one down.
I had an egg sandwich this morning and sushi for dinner. Very tasty. Your rye and cranberry orange toast sound interesting.
Happy New Year!

Yeah, I like using the bread box, but sometimes things disappear in there.

That's one of my favorite ways to fix eggs. I usually toss in some chopped onions, if I have another fresh vegetable on hand, like a piece of broccoli, I just sauté the veggies first and then add the eggs and cook together. I just sprinkle the cheese on top.
I got the idea to make my own type of breakfast roll-ups. So sometimes, I make extra egg mixture like this. Then I divide it out and fill a few tortillas, roll them up and wrap them, and freeze them. On a rushed day they make an awesome breakfast. Cranberry orange toast sounds so, so good.

I figure it's a win-win. No mess the second time around, it's homemade, it tastes good...and it sure is great for when I am in a hurry.

Breakfast sounds good. We also used Christmas Trees and after a few days removed them and kept them in the storage under bed.
Now our main priority is to navigate through the extreme winter days.
We have very less sunshine over the last few days and our temperatures are between max of 14.5 to 17C and minimum between 6 to 9 C.
It might not sound very less to you but it is a challenging time for us, with dry and cold winds increasing the effect of chill !
